Numeracy Reflection W3 T3

Numeracy
This week for numeracy we had to add two more slides to our DTO Decimals and Fractions slide. We had to show the teacher that we understand and know how to Visualize equivalent fractions and Fractions in a simplified form.

It was a bit hard trying to explain how to do it. I learnt how to Visualize equivalent fractions and how to do Fractions in a simplified form. Here are the two slides that I completed.

Olympic Reflection W3 T3

Topic
For topic this week we had to have 5 Olympic activities completed. This week I started and finished 3 activities which were a NZ
Paralympian profile, an inspirational story about someone that has competed in the Olympics before and a Compare and Contrast activity where you had to write what things were different in the ancient Olympics and what things were different in the Modern Olympics.

It was a bit tricky trying to write the Inspirational Story because you had to write it in your own words. The Compare and Contrast sheet was a bit tricky as well because you had to find lots and lots of information.

I learnt lots about the Olympics and some of the NZ 2016 Athletes. The most interesting fact that I found out was that the Para-Athlete that I studied was blind and deaf. Here are some of the activities that I did.
