"How To" Tutorial - Blogging Contract

For our blogging contract, one of our activities was to do a tutorial to teach our viewers a skill. Mia and I decided to do a video on 'how to ride a hoverboard' as this is something we both love to do.

Visual Mihi

Earlier this term, we completed a visual mihi so others can get to know us. This was also one of the blogging contract activities. Here is mine. 

5 Facts - Brunner Mine

As a part of our Brunner Mine/The Mines' Afire topic we had to create a presentation including 5 facts we found out. We then had to find out more background information relating to the chosen fact. 

Blogging Contract - Quiz

For the terms 1 and 2 our class is completing a blogging contract. There are 20 different activities we have to complete. I chose to complete the quiz as my first activity. I made an All About Me quiz to tie into our topic we did at the start of the term.

The Mines' Afire - Diary Entry

This week we had to write a diary entry for The Mines' Afire explaining about the explosion and the funeral. We had to write in the perspective of a brother/sister or Mum/Dad or son/daughters who's relative died in the explosion.

The Mines' Afire - #3

Yesterday and today Miss Hines read us two more passages from our class novel. We then had to complete another comprehension activity. These parts were quite sad as it was set just after the explosion happened. I would fell very anxious if this happened to my family as I wouldn't know if my Dad, Grandad, brother etc would come out of the mine alive.
