This is a great letter to Millah, I like how you have added in some images and used some maori words like I did! You have added in a lot of detail and it almost makes me feel like I am there with you!
Well done you have written a great letter. I like the presentation, the scroll is a really great effect to the activity. Its good that you have your fishing gear with you as you might need to catch your food if you run out.
It would be scary sailing to a new place, not knowing where you were going or what was going to happen when you got there.
You will be really tired when you finally make land and will enjoy a good nights sleep.

I love how you have presented your letter in a scroll and how you wanted to include as many te reo words in your letter as you knew. In the past, you actually wouldn't have been able to write a letter home as the postal service wouldn't have been able to find you out in the middle of the ocean! How horrible would that be..not having any contact with family you have left for weeks, months, even years! I love how keen you are to do the Summer Learning Journey. Love Mum
