Literacy/Topic Reflection W8 T3

For literacy and topic this week we had to look up a website and choose a place. The website is called Google Sight Seeing. There were about 10 places that you could choose from. The places were all around the world but I chose Venice because it looked like a cool place to study. Here is a link to the website that has facts about the places on it. You have to scroll to the bottom to find the different places. Website

Earth Picker
Miss Panther let us use a website called Earth Picker. A picture came up on our screen. We could rotate around a 360 degrees turn. We used road signs, landmarks and buildings in the picture to help us find out where in the world it was. You had to pin point where in the world you thought it was. We used google maps and google to find out where it might be in the world.

Cyber Smart

I have learnt to check resources twice just to make sure whether you have got the correct information or not.
I have also learnt to try different ways to present your work. Not just on a drawing or doc all the time.

Big Day Out Reflection W8 T3

Today Mamaku went on our Big Day Out. We went to the movies, the new Recreation Centre and the pool.

The Movies
We watched Pete's Dragon. I did all of my homework so I got a small popcorn and an ice cream. We also got to pick a friend to sit with us. I chose Madisyn.

New Recreation Centre
We had 4 rotations where we played sports games. The games were football, cricket, basketball and badminton. Badminton was quite tricky.

The Pool
The other treat we got for doing all of our homework was to get into the pool first and go on the hydroslides first.

I really enjoyed the Big Day Out.

We also started a activity where we had to read a page of 'why did they make mummies?'. We haven't finished them yet but the will probably be on next week's reflection.

Numeracy Reflection W6 T3

Numeracy
This week for numeracy we have been learning about fraction word problems. We had to get into a group of 3 or 4 and chose 4 word problems to solve. (Sorry it was on paper so I can't show you).
The next day we chose 2 word problems (to do by ourselves). We had to create a goggle drawing for each of them. The hardest word problem we had to screencastify because we might teach someone something. Here is my screencastify video.
