These are some great questions! I bet you would make a great interviewer. I like that you have asked really open-ended questions. This means that you will get a lot more information asking these types of questions that need to be answered with more detail, rather than just "yes" and "no".
I wonder how far Oamaru is from Greymouth? Maybe you could try using Google Maps and see how long it would take to drive to Oamaru from your house? How long would it take to walk? Haha!
