Thelma Eakin's Visit

Earlier today we were lucky enough for Thelma Eakin to come in and talk to T1 and T2 about her book 'The Mines' Afire'. She answered many of our questions and she even brought in a couple of souvenirs she had, including a lamp that was sort of like the one that would have been used in the mine.

    Thank you for sharing our visit on your blog. Did you enjoy Thelma's visit? I found her very interesting to listen to and I never knew that she had written a play about the Brunner Mine before she wrote her book.
