What a touching and beautiful blog post. Thank you for sharing this story about your Great Great Uncle Ted and your Gran. Reading your blog post made me feel emotional too, but you must all be very proud of Ted. It's very sad how many lives were lost in the war., but like you said, I am also grateful that we no longer live in a country torn by war.
