(W2) DAY 4 (A3) - Picture Perfect
For this activity you had to choose 1/3 selfies and write a short story (8/10 sentences long). We had to describe what you think is happening in the picture, where you think the person is and what you think that were doing when they stopped to pose for the selfie.

Kia ora Reagan,
ReplyDeleteWhat a great choice you have made for picking the second selfie as the one to write about. He is very brave to be standing up so high like that, isn't he? I don't know about you but I think my legs would be wobbling and my hands would be shaking! Are you afraid of heights?
That's very clever that you have identified that the man is in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, I think you're absolutely correct! I've never been to Brazil before or anywhere in South America, for that matter. Have you ever been to South America before? If I had the chance, I would love to visit Machu Picchu in Peru as well as the statue that you have pointed out since they all look so amazing in the pictures and documentaries that I have seen. Yes, I agree with you, you'll definitely feel much safer wearing a harness up there, good thinking! Do you like to take selfies? I don't really like to take selfies because I'm a bit camera shy, but when I do, I like to take them with my favourite selfie buddy: my dog!
Happy blogging,
Evelyn :)
Kia ora Reagan,
DeleteWhaaaaat, that's such a crazy height difference!!! I also thought that statue would be much, much taller than 38m! Thanks for sharing that surprising fact with me, it's awesome to know that our Sky Tower is still a King!
Haha I know the feeling of trying to take a picture with a little creature that moves around a lot... Taking photos of views is an excellent idea, it's good to savour all these precious memories and sights. I hope you get to visit all those amazing places one day, I think you will really enjoy it!
Best,
Evelyn :)
