For this activity we had to choose a time of the year we would recommend tourists to come to NZ. We then had to write 3 reasons why we chose this time of the year.
Well done, I enjoyed reading your reasons for visitors to come to New Zealand in winter. This is the first persons activity that I have read that has suggested winter. Lots of people say to come in summer, so it is good to be different.
It certainly would be good in the winter time. There are so many awesome things to see and do in the cold. Like skiing and even just playing in the snow. The snow makes everything seem beautiful like the trees. Looks amazing with the snow dripping off the branches. I would also suggest going on the Tranz Alpine train ride in the winter rather than the summer. It really is a stunning trip in the winter. And you can't beat sitting in the hot pools on a cold winters day!! Much better than on a hot sunny day. Hanmer is a great place to visit and one of my favourites. Good place to go on school camp!!!!
