This is a great piece of creative writing. I enjoyed reading it until I got to the end. I was not expecting for you pet bird to die. I realise that his is a reality of the acid rain but I am really pleased that this is a work of fiction. This would be something very horrible to deal with in real life and I really hope that we never have to.

You have learnt facts about acid rain and included them into this clever piece of writing. Where does acid rain usually happen? I do not know much about this phenomenon.
