(W4) DAY 1 (A1) - World Of Wearable (WOW) Art

For this activity we had to write down 5 question that we would like to ask Dame Suzie Moncrieff (the create of WOW).

  1. Kia ora Reagan,

My name is Mikey. I am a member of the Summer Learning Journey team, just like Allie, Hasiba and Evelyn.

It looks like you've been very busy! I'm excited to read all of your wonderful blog posts. :)

You've come up with some really thoughtful questions for Dame Susie Moncrieff. I would be particularly interested in the answer to your second question. Have you been to a WOW show before? I went to one when I lived in Wellington (I live in Auckland now) and... WOW! Haha. It was one of the most amazing productions I have ever seen. I definitely recommend going, if you haven't already.

Well done on a great post Reagan. :)

    Happy blogging,

    Mikey

Thank you for your positive comment!
I have never been to a WOW show before but I have seen photos and I am really eager to go one day! When I went to Nelson, I went to the WOW museum with my family. We got to see quite a few of the dresses modelled at the show in Wellington, on display.

      Au revoir,
      Reagan

    2. Hi Reagan!

I didn't realise there was a WOW museum! That's very cool. Do you know if they change the outfits every year with every new show? Or do they keep the exhibition the same?

What else did you and your family do in Nelson? I've never been but I'd love to go one day soon.

      Bye for now,

      Mikey :)

    3. Bonjour Mikey

At the WOW museum, I think they switch only 'some' of the outfits out each year but they also keep quite a few of them on display for a little longer!
In Nelson we went out to the world's longest zipline. We also spent one of the days at the Nelson Fun Park where we went on the 'Pro Karts', and the water park! We also went out to Rabbit Island and Kaiteriteri for a visit! I loved the golden sand at Kaiteriteri - it was absolutely amazing! Also, a LOT of shopping!
Nelson/Kaiteriteri would have to be somewhere at the top of my favourite places to visit in NZ along with Queenstown. Where is your favourite place to visit in NZ?

      Noho ora mai
