This week Holly Robinson, the Paralympic came to our school.
Rikki-Lee (a girl in my class) is Holly's cousin. She organised the visit.
Holly came and talked to us about her life throwing the javelin, her experience in Rio and about her silver medal. She also told us that she got to be the flag bearer for NZ.With the silver medal she got a little toy. The toy's hair had the colour of the medal that you got given.
This is a photo of Holly in Rio.
It was amazing that you got to see an Olympian in real life. You were so lucky to have touched a real silver medal. One day, you might visit a school with your Olympic medal!!
