Tie-Dying - The Finished Product

Yesterday I was lucky enough to be able to start tie-dying my t-shirt for the Art Soiree. I decided on doing a spiral design and using blue, pink and yellow.
I added 4 rubber bands to mine which created 8 sections for colour. I did 3 blue sections, 3 pink sections and 2 yellow sections. And that is why the yellow wasn't so vibrant on mine compared to other ones that used the same colours.
It was funny to see that Mackenzie, Aimee and Ella all used the same colours as me however theirs turned out completely different.

I really enjoyed tie-dying the t-shirts for the first time. Have you ever tie-dyed before?

The process of tie-dying:
- Rinse the t-shirt in hot water.
- Put on gloves and a painting shirt.
- Fold and move the t-shirt into chosen design.
- Attach rubber bands if needed.
- Apply the dye.
- Put your t-shirt into a plastic bag.
- Keep in the plastic bag for 6-8 hours.
- After the time take the t-shirt out of the plastic bag and detach rubber bands.
- Rinse in cold water until the access dye is all rinsed out.
- Ring out to dry and here you have your finished t-dye t-shirt.

Here is a photo of mine!
