(W2) DAY 2 (A2) - Mighty Mangroves

For this activity we had to think of someone who we thought is strong and tough. We then had to write down why we chose them.

WOW! I had tears in my eyes reading this. I took a photo of it and sent it to Tash. She also said she had tears in her eyes but she said that doesn't sound very strong and tough, does it? She was blown away that you had chosen her and she said it was very special to her. I think you made her day. I agree, she is very strong. I have heard some stories of what she has had to do in the police force and there is no way I would be emotionally strong enough to do this. I love how she has inspired you to get fitter and do more running. She always sets goals and is determined to reach them. A bit like someone else I know!!

Haha. Yes, she might be that strong and tough after all! Just kidding!
I agree, the things that she would have had to do in the police force is absolutely horrific. I would never be able to do this! I love how determined she is to do such HUGE runs! 1018kms of running last year! WOW!
Who would you chose as your strong and tough person?

  2. Hey Reagan,

It's so cool that you have a police officer in your family and I love that you have chosen to write about your aunty! I'm sure that she was absolutely thrilled and happy to hear about this and read your post!

You're right, you would have to be incredibly brave and tough to be a police officer, I can see why you look up to your aunty. I don't think I would have the courage to become one. Would you be interested in becoming a police officer? Does aunty Tash have her own police car and have you been inside it before? I've been in a police car once in my life before and it was an interesting experience but it was a shame that we weren't allowed to put the sirens on. Does aunty Tash get to work with police dogs on her job? I've seen some really intelligent German Shepherd and Labrador police dogs on TV before, they're very brave too!

    Best,
    Evelyn :)
