(W4) DAY 3 (A3) - The Power Of Ten

For this activity we had to think of 10 plants or animals that we would like to protect from extinction. We also had to give reasons why we chose each of them.

  1. Hi Reagan

This is a great list of plants and animals that you would like to save.
I think my favourite plant/flower on you list would be the Frangipani. I love this flower too. When I went to Rarotonga I was amazed at this tree that looked so bare but then had these beautiful flowers on it. I really like it too and loved my lei that I got at the airport as it was made from all frangipani's.
And the bird on your list I would have on my list would be the Toucan. I think this is an amazing bird. I just love the colours of them. I would also add the Macaw to my list. I love these big parrots. I spent a lot of time when we went to Auckland Zoo watching these birds and loved it when they got them out of the enclosure.
There are just so many amazing animals that I would want to save. It is a shame that so many of them are endangered.

Great work and remember to keep commenting!

    Until next time

    Allie :)

  2. Kia Ora Reagan!

It's Katelynn here! This is a very well presented summer learning journey activity. These are some very interesting things you would save from extinction. I like the colour you have chosen for the title words. I also like the picture of the flowers you have chosen to put in the corner.

Why did you choose to present it this way?
Did you enjoy completing this summer learning journey activity?

Keep up the great work Reagan!
